DJ Flavya begins by walking you through the various recording devices you can use—from smartphones and handheld recorders to audio interfaces and microphones—highlighting their strengths, limitations, and when to use each. Then, she demonstrates how to import your organic recordings into a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for editing. You’ll learn how to clean up, chop, loop, and arrange your samples so they feel tight and musical, while still retaining the raw energy of their source.
