Jacinta Clusellas

Jacinta Clusellas is a New York City–based composer, singer-songwriter, and guitarist originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work blends South American folklore, jazz, and chamber music into songs inspired by poetry, literature, and nature. Jacinta has performed at venues including Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium, Joe’s Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Great Hall at Cooper Union, and has served as music director, composer, and arranger for the bilingual musical Azul, Otra Vez at New York Theatre Workshop, BRIC, and The Drama League. Her debut album El Pájaro Azul was released in New York and published in Japan under Inpartmaint Inc., with a second album produced by West One Music (London, UK) slated for recording in NYC.

At Sound Collective, Jacinta brings years of experience composing, arranging, and performing to teach songwriting, guitar, and vocal performance. She emphasizes connecting music with storytelling and emotional expression while developing technical skills and creative independence. Students leave her courses equipped to craft original compositions that fuse musicality and narrative, exploring both instrumental and vocal artistry.
