Ross Clark
Ross Clark is a New York based multi-instrumentalist, producer/songwriter and DJ. After receiving a BFA from The New School for Jazz Studies with an emphasis on Guitar Performance, Ross found early success by being a founding member of the acclaimed band St. Lucia. Ross has made a name for himself through his dynamic performances and collaborations with various artists in the music industry.
With an impressive roster of venues under his belt, Ross is a sought-after act in the vibrant New York City nightlife scene. Ross has proven himself as a talented guitarist, Touring Musician, DJ, producer/songwriter and collaborator. He has worked alongside notable artists including The Knocks, Halsey, Viceroy, Queen Niaja, Jonas Blue, Ghostface Killah, Moonboots, DAGNY, Juliana Madrid, VHS Collection, Spencer Ludwig, Wyclef Jean, Blu Detiger, Phoebe Ryan, Sofitukker, Matt Maeson, and Nina Nesbitt, bringing his unique musical sensibilities and infectious energy to their projects.
Ross’s dedication and skill have earned him opportunities to perform at prestigious music festivals such as Coachella Main Stage, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands and Governor’s Ball to name a few. He has also played iconic venues like the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek Theater, First Avenue and Red Rocks Theater and has appeared at notable NYC venues like, City Winery, Hammerstein Ballroom, Pier 17, Webster Hall, Terminal 5 as well as legendary smaller venues Joe’s Pub, Irving Plaza, Smalls Jazz Club, and NuBlu.
Ross has also made appearances on esteemed television programs including “”Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,”” “”The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,”” three performances on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” as well as “”Good Morning America,”” further solidifying his status as a respected and influential figure in the music industry.
Performance aside, Ross has publishing/co-writing credit on over 41 released songs as well as countless examples in which he’s providing session guitar work. Synth pop, Indie Rock, House Music, Hip hop and Jazz and more all indicate the eclectic nature of his taste as well as his practical utilization of it.
Teaching background:
Ross has given private instruction, ensemble clinics as well as industry seminars consistently throughout his career as well as worked with various music schools and colleges in many different capacities.
