DJ Perly, a Puerto Rican Bronx-born DJ, Turntablist, and producer, is a groundbreaking figure in the DJ world. She has gained widespread recognition for her exceptional skill, becoming the first woman to win the DMC US Finals in 2017 and the first to win two DMC USA National titles in 2022. Perly’s accomplishments also include placing 4th in the DMC World Finals in 2017 and 2024, the highest ever placement by a woman. A 7-time DMC World Finalist and a 2X DMC NYC Regional Champion, she has cemented her reputation as a force in the DJ scene. Her accolades extend beyond battles, including nominations for the 2017 Global Spin Award for ‘Turntablist of the Year’ and the DJane Mag 2018 Best Scratch DJ Award. Perly is a Serato, Rane, and Numark artist ambassador and has been honored with the title “Undisputed Queen of the 1’s & 2’s” by Hip-Hop legends Grandmaster Caz and Melle Mel.
