Chris Biesterfeldt

Chris Biesterfeldt is a Brooklyn-based guitarist and mandolin player with a versatile career spanning jazz, classical, Broadway, and popular music. He has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists including singer-songwriters Dana LaCroix, Stevvi Alexander, Margo Rey, Ned Massey, Raphael Saadiq, and Warren Haynes; jazz musicians Donald Brown, James Williams, Hector Martignon, and William Cepeda; Broadway stars Mandy Gonzalez, Julie Reiber, and Natalie Douglas; classical ensembles such as the American Modern Ensemble and Princeton Symphony Orchestra; and Nigerian talking drummer Kofo The Wonderman.
Chris has also contributed to numerous television and commercial projects, recording for shows and jingles including Sesame Street, Johnny and the Sprites, ESPN, AT&T, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and making live appearances on The View and Live with Regis and Kelly. His Broadway credits include performing in the orchestra for productions such as Mamma Mia, Rent, Hairspray, Xanadu, Next to Normal, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Pippin, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
