Eric Diamond

Eric Diamond (a.k.a. Diamond, ItsCoolDiamond) is an American independent musician, producer, composer, engineer, and sound designer based in New York.  He has worked with notable artists/producers & brands such as Curren$y, Ski Beatz, Snoop Dogg, Roland Global, Berklee College of Music, Dear Silas, Jim Jones, Busta Rhymes, G Perico, LE$, Wiz Khalifa, Canvas & many more.  He is a multi-instrumentalist who has paved his way in the music industry with his signature lush keys, complex compositions, and unique spaced out sounds.  He began his career in music while studying with renowned jazz musicians such as Brian Landrus, Charlie Lagond, and Anthony ‘Rusty’ Cloud.  Within this time, he studied jazz piano, alto saxophone, and music theory which have translated into his chart topping productions.  Before moving onto his music career full time, he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and worked as an electrical engineer.  Taking from both sides of his passions, Eric has developed a modern hiphop/jazz-fusion sound utilizing synthesizers and acoustic instruments to create original compositions and productions that have elements of soul, jazz, electronic, psychedelic rock and more.
