Whether on vinyl, Serato, or controller platters, students gain hands-on experience in controlling the decks with precision and creativity. Through weekly practice, feedback, and performance-based goals, students build confidence to incorporate scratching into their DJ sets and develop their own unique sound.

    • Learn tone arm adjustment, needle types, platter control, and calibration.

    • Practice baby, stab, and release scratches with timing drills.
  • Scratch Patterns and Layering
    • Combine scratches into structured combos with rhythm and phrasing.

  • Routine Building and Beat Juggling
    • Build structured scratch routines, practice crowd delivery, and explore basic juggling.
  • Final Performance
